I don't know what the deal is with the streets in Richmond, but I even noticed the bad roads when we were running the 8K this fall in the main part of the city. I think you did a...Congratulations on your race!! <br /><br />I think you did a great job considering the conditions. It wasn't a goal race, and it is better to have a slightly slower time and not run tangents or risk slipping down and hurting yourself before your goal race. I had a race that was way off pace in December, and it wasn't race effort, but the thing about those races is that you can get back to training quicker, not as much recovery required, which is good with your half coming up. Maybe the conditions were a blessing for your training in that point of view. :)<br /><br />Plus, your first 15K = Insta-PR.
