You have the pacing down and that's really neat, it is hard not to go out too fast and the strategy seemed to work for you. That's a good thought about certain paces not feeling too bad in the beginning, then the heat gets to ya. <br /><br />We have a 4 miler coming up here, and it's a trail run. It would be an insta-PR for me as it's the first time I've ever raced a 4 miler.... but I do agree, it is fun to run a race that's a different distance. Also there's a ton of evening ones here and I hate having to eat bland all day and wait to work out.
